Do you live in any unschooling-friendly country, and you’d like to share with others about it? Being a speaker at Unschooling around the world is an absolutely fantastic, beautiful and unique possibility to not only inspire like-hearted families, but also to magnetise dear friends, potential neighbours, future community members, soul-family, deeply aligned clients, or the most phenomenal collaborators into your world – without doing anything much more than showing up to your designated call. Additionally to that, we would appreciate if you’d be available for questions in the Zoom chat, our Telegram group or messages, but it is completely up to you to which extend you choose to do so.

Your contact details and links (if you’d like to share any) will also be posted together with the replays so that even participants who can’t join us live will be able to reach you easily.

Inside of our Telegram group, you are also so very welcome to post any offerings that you may have.

I have hosted multiple global events like these in the past 6 years, and we usually have an absolutely amazing, present, passionate and active audience, and the speakers are greatly appreciated.

The gathering is split into four different calls:

DM or e-mail me (info@ittakesavillage.se) to apply. Please let me know which country you’d like to represent, which one(s) of the calls would work best for you, and tell me just a few sentences about yourself and why you’d like to join.

I will then get back to you within 3 days the latest (most likely quicker). It is important for me that we have a great diversity of countries, and also that you and I are a good energetic match (which almost always is the case with people who feel drawn to my spaces).

I will then confirm the call that you’ll be part of and send you the Zoom link and the order for the speakers.

During the call, you’ll have ca. 10-15 minutes to talk. I’d like you to share a bit about yourself, your family and your story (you choose what feels good for you to share and most relevant!) – and, of course, about your country. (For example, why did you choose this country (especially if you weren’t born there)? What are the homeschool regulations (briefly)? What are the advantages & disadvantages of unschooling there? Etc.) Please know that I will always highlight that none of us are legal experts or advisors; this event is for inspiration only.

There are neither fees nor monetary compensation for this opportunity.

I am currently still in the planning state, and the exact countries will be revealed as soon as I have the confirmations of our speakers. Last year, we had 23 countries from all around the world represented – it was absolutely stunning, and it will be just as phenomenal (or even better! – If that even is possible…) this year.

I can’t express HOW excited I am – not only about the diversity of countries, but also about the speakers who are sharing about them. Their bravery, their different stories, perspectives, experiences – all in one place. I have never seen this offered anywhere else.

Meet your host!

Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I am SO excited that you are here!

Already many years before becoming a mother, I turned into a passionate community creator. Since living in multiple countries for many decades, I basically feel like a foreigner and outsider anywhere on the planet, and I noticed early that I was not the only one longing for togetherness – especially when you are different than the majority of people.

When I then became a mum, I right away started this new chapter of my life with a bunch of “alien choices” such as birthing my children at home AND without any medical staff, co-sleeping with my children, carrying them in slings, not sending them to daycare, breastfeeding them for many years etc. So suddenly I was even more different than “just” being a foreigner. As you can imagine, more than ever before I felt the need for togetherness with other people who would not only accept me but deeply support and inspire me to follow my heart, even through the most challenging times.

I get to be the mama of the most beautiful little adventurers who never have been to any institutions, who share my love for walking barefoot and for indulging in freshly picked berries, for the sea, campfires, baking, gardening, snuggles, amazing friendships across ages and cultures, and exploring different places on this planet. Together, we dream of building our own house with clay, and to grow a big fruit garden.

I also adore islands, sheep, and I think I might be addicted to underwhelm. (I.e. places where I feel calm and spaciousness, where I can easily see the moon and the stars, places that grow wild flowers, and where I often hear nothing but the sound of birds, waves, or the wind.)

Birthed as a fusion of my own experiences and gifts, I started offering support and mentorship for people who are longing to live and parent with freedom, authenticity, and sovereignty, and in alignment with their needs, values, and visions, for example through my inner circle ROOTED & FREE or 1:1 mentorship.

During the past decades, I have created the most powerful and beautiful communities both online and offline, I have connected the most amazing people and planted seeds for the most incredible friendships, and it fills my heart with so much joy that I get to do this again through Unschooling around the world. May this gathering be a portal to more freedom, nourishment, beautiful connections, and HOME for many!
