Bonus call: unschooling and dads
During call 2, we will not only hear about different unschooling-friendly countries, but we will have the honour to talk to three extraordinary men and fathers about unschooling: why is it often the mothers who are the unschooling pioneers in the families? What has inspired each of these men to go all in on this journey? What have been their biggest challenges and fears – and how have they overcome them?
I have been dreaming about making this happen for years because I believe it is SUCH a big, important and alive topic – and I could not be more honoured and thrilled to do this now and with these three incredible lighthouse dads: Richard Hart, Manish Jain and Daniel Draper. All of them from three different continents, totally different backgrounds, stories and lives. I cannot WAIT for you to meet them AND for us to dive into this potent conversation.
Tell me more... How does it work?
This absolutely stunning event consists of four live calls on Zoom where you will meet ca. six speakers during each call. They will tell both about their countries as well as about their family, their life, their journey. Call 2 will, on top of that, also be a conversation about unschooling and dads.
During each call, you can ask questions in the chat and also directly connect with the speakers, and we’ll also have some time at the end of each call for open discussions and questions.
On Tuesday, we’ll meet for an additional call: an open conversation for all participants.
All calls will be made available as replays for everyone who signs up, and you’ll receive contact details for all speakers if you’d like to reach out to them.
Also, you will get access to our private group on Telegram where you can connect with everyone, ask questions, share about your own projects and offerings etc.
When?
This gathering will be happening in four different calls (ca. 90 minutes/each).
Call 1: Saturday, September 12th at 12:00/noon CET*
Call 2: Sunday, September 13th at 9:00/9am CET*
Call 3: Sunday, September 13th at 18:00/6pm CET*
Call 4: Monday, September 14th at 16:00/4pm CET*
Open conversation: Tuesday, September 15th at 16:00/4pm CET*
*Convert to your local time zone here
And, yes, if you have a ticket, you will receive all the replays.
What’s in it for me?
This is not only a great opportunity for unschooling families – and unschooling families-to-be – to find a possible new home country, but also to explore HOW different you can create and live life as unschoolers and sooo many possibilities that you didn’t know existed (after all, most of us are just beginning to explore the vast universe that is available when you live outside the box!), hear the most mind-stretching and touching stories of our incredible speakers, connect with other amazing, like-hearted families, meet friends for life, get to know lighthouse souls to support you on this path, grow your soul-village, find future neighbours, or co-creators for your next unschooling project, and to ask aaaaall your questions around unschooling and beyond.
Please be aware that neither I nor any of the speakers are legal, medical or political experts or any other sort of professional advisors. This event is for inspiration only. Please do your own thorough research!
Who is it for?
Parents, children, grandparents, aunties, and all other courageous souls who are curious about unschooling and a life that feels sovereign, nourishing, and true to your heart!
I’d love to be part of this! What now?
Purchase your ticket through clicking the blue button. The investment for the ticket is 28€.
If you really want to join but 28€ is a big strain for you, I have great news: Ecoversities just joined us as a collaborator which means that we can offer 30 tickets at 11€ only! Meet your host!
Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I am SO excited that you are here!
Already many years before becoming a mother, I turned into a passionate community creator. Since living in multiple countries for many decades, I basically feel like a foreigner and outsider anywhere on the planet, and I noticed early that I was not the only one longing for togetherness – especially when you are different than the majority of people.
When I then became a mum, I right away started this new chapter of my life with a bunch of “alien choices” such as birthing my children at home AND without any medical staff, co-sleeping with my children, carrying them in slings, not sending them to daycare, breastfeeding them for many years etc. So suddenly I was even more different than “just” being a foreigner. As you can imagine, more than ever before I felt the need for togetherness with other people who would not only accept me but deeply support and inspire me to follow my heart, even through the most challenging times.
I get to be the mama of the most beautiful little adventurers who never have been to any institutions, who share my love for walking barefoot and for indulging in freshly picked berries, for the sea, campfires, baking, gardening, snuggles, amazing friendships across ages and cultures, and exploring different places on this planet. Together, we dream of building our own house with clay, and to grow a big fruit garden.
I also adore islands, sheep, and I think I might be addicted to underwhelm. (I.e. places where I feel calm and spaciousness, where I can easily see the moon and the stars, places that grow wild flowers, and where I often hear nothing but the sound of birds, waves, or the wind.)
Birthed as a fusion of my own experiences and gifts, I started offering support and mentorship for people who are longing to live and parent with freedom, authenticity, and sovereignty, and in alignment with their needs, values, and visions, for example through my inner circle ROOTED & FREE or 1:1 mentorship.
During the past decades, I have created the most powerful and beautiful communities both online and offline, I have connected the most amazing people and planted seeds for the most incredible friendships, and it fills my heart with so much joy that I get to do this again through Unschooling around the world. May this gathering be a portal to more freedom, nourishment, beautiful connections, and HOME for many!
With love,
Rebecca
